For 25 years the San Mateo Public Library’s Summer Learning Challenge (SLC) has helped thousands of kids get the most out of summer.

Last year over 6,000 kids from 1-18 years old participated, but—due to a county-level funding shift—this vital program is facing severe cuts.

Our goal is to raise $60K by June 1st to keep SLC robust! Your donation provides free books, fun activities, literacy programs, and scholarships to San Mateo & Hillsborough kids—helping them explore, learn, and connect with their world.
